Refund Policy
Last updated: May 2026
We want you to be happy with Drift. We also can't refund AI-model API costs that have already been spent generating your report. This policy explains how we balance those two things.
The free tier
The free trial is free — 3 sessions every 48 hours, no card required. There's nothing to refund.
Credit packs (when paid features launch)
Credit packs are fully refundable if no credits have been used. Once any credit has been consumed by a session, the entire pack becomes non-refundable. This is because the API costs are real and have already been paid on our end.
If you'd like a full refund on an unused credit pack, email beliefdrift@gmail.com within 30 days of purchase. We'll process it back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
Subscriptions (when paid features launch)
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account settings. You retain access until the end of the current paid period — there's no early cancellation fee. Subscription payments are non-refundable for the current period, because you've already used (or had access to) the service.
Accidental duplicate charges
If you accidentally subscribed twice or bought the same credit pack twice in error, we'll always refund the duplicate. Email us with the transaction IDs.
Technical issues
If a session fails partway through due to a technical issue on our side (server error, lost connection, etc.), we'll restore the credit. This is automatic in most cases, but if it doesn't happen, email us and we'll fix it manually.
Chargebacks
If you have a problem with a charge, please email us first. We'll respond quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended.
How to request a refund
Email beliefdrift@gmail.com with:
- The email address used for the purchase
- The transaction ID (from your Stripe receipt)
- A short explanation of what happened
We aim to respond within 2 business days.
Changes to this policy
If we change this refund policy, the new policy applies only to purchases made after the change. Any purchase you've already made will be governed by the policy in effect at the time of that purchase.
